H&M will team up with Balenciaga designer Alexander Wang for its next design collaboration.
Put November 6 in your diaries, because that’s the day that Alexander Wang’s designer collaboration with H&M lands in stores.
The announcement came at midnight, shortly before a party co-hosted by the two brands at American music festival, Coachella, via a video on Wang’s Instagram account. The message read simply ‘Alexander Wang X H&M’.
Set to be another lightening sell-out, H&M says the range will go “beyond fashion” with Wang proposing “a new take on the lifestyle product offering”.
Expect accessories and objéts akin to those sold under his eponymous label (these include headphones, yoga mats, keyrings, vases and a dice set) alongside the slick and utilitarian womens and menswear, bags and shoes that have made Wang one of the most successful and desired designers of our time.
“I am honored to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations,” Wang says in a statement released by H&M this morning. “The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle.”
The full collection will be available in 250 H&M stores worldwide, and online.

As title sponsor of Graduate Fashion Week, George at Asda basically gets dibs on the best new design talent! As part of this ongoing partnership, the fashion brand often collaborates with graduates and students that have been spotted at the event.
The most recent new face to join the ranks is Susanna Yi, a student of The University of East London, and winner of the Graduate Fashion Week ‘Best of British’ competition at GFW last Summer. Her winning collection, which explored the contrast between the historic old dock buildings in the East End with the newer high rises and plush riverside apartments, has been developed into a set of retail garments with the help of the George team.
A printed dress and tee, slouchy trousers and chiffon tops make up the range, which is available online now priced between £10 and £16. This is an incredible opportunity to support student designers and show you care about the future of fashion – so grab them before they sell out!
